Articulated Counterbalance Trucks

Summary

Articulated Counterbalance Trucks - Similar to a standard counterbalance trucks, articulated counterbalance trucks have the ability to rotate the mast and forked section of the truck, allowing versatile movement in Very Narrow Aisles (VNA).

Technical Information

Articulated Counterbalance Truck

These trucks have either three or four wheels and can operate in aisles as thin as 1.6m and to a racking height of 12m, assuming a high surface flatness and levelness and that there are no wide, stepped or uneven joints.

However, these trucks have a carrying limit of up to 1.5 tonnes (compared to the standard counterbalance truck which is up to 8 tonnes). Therefore, the choice between standard and articulated counterbalance trucks is a trade-off between versatility and load-carrying capacity.
